Natalie’s passion for wilderness exploration has led her to pursue creative endeavours in some of the most remote and beautiful landscapes on Earth. She divides her year by chasing the summer light between the Arctic and Antarctic regions; a lover of high altitude and high latitude wilderness areas, her academic interests are focused on the dynamic relationships that exist between humans and the natural world, a dominant theme that shapes her creative pursuits.
As a professional wilderness guide, Natalie has logged over 1000 days in the field; she has led hiking, sea kayaking, whitewater canoeing, floe edge and sailing expeditions and perpetually finds herself longing for the sense of freedom found in exploring secluded realms of the natural world.
Natalie is an alumni of the Humber School for Writers and holds a Masters of Arts degree in Creative and Critical Writing from the University of Gloucestershire. She released her first book of poetry, This is Where Atlantis Sank in 2021.
